Lightwoods.co.uk is a website about a small woodland 6.5 acres in size somewhere in deepest darkest Surrey.

Description: An open, level woodland, surrounded by ancient woodbanks. These are studded with massive oaks and an occasional hornbeam.

Within, ash and poplar trees were planted and nurtured about fourty years ago, and now provide a continuous high canopy. The ground beneath is grassy. There are long open tracks through the trees, with primroses, bluebells, and other flowers in season. With a clearing for picnics and camping.
